On Monday 31st March 2025 children will take part in the Hop, Skip and Jump event for East Lancashire Hospice, helping to raise vital funds for this local charity.

Service of Commemoration D-Day 80

We were extremely proud and honoured to be invited to the D-Day 80 Commemoration event at Darwen Market Square on Thursday 6th June 2024.

Mrs Moss and Mrs Riding accompanied 4 children to the event which was very well attended. Those in attendance included representatives from the Royal British Legion, ex-service personnel and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Darwen.

In school, we held a special worship. It was an opportunity for us all to pause and reflect on giving thanks and honour those who gave their lives to defend our democratic freedoms.
