We hope that you enjoy browsing our website and gain an insight into the life of St Stephen's Tockholes.  We are very proud of our small, rural school; our pupils and their successes.  Our website is packed full of useful information and regular updates on what is happening in and around school.

At St Stephen's, we aim to provide a distinctively Christian, caring, stimulating and secure environment in which children are encouraged to strive to do their best in all aspects of their learning and development. We place great emphasis upon the well-being and personal developmental of every child.  As a school, we work hard to create a lively, engaging and purposeful learning environment which is complemented by our amazing rural surroundings. Our vision for the school is:

This bible quote underpins our Christian vision because Christ gives us the strength 'to be the best we can be'. 

As a church school, the Christian faith influences all that we do in school, permeating all aspects of school life. This is clearly summarised in our mission statement which was developed by both the staff and children together,  "Inspiring God’s children to achieve their full potential. We are a small school but big enough to care and inspire all children. We provide a safe Christian environment for all to work and play together.”  Our core values are ‘Humility, Hope, Community, Compassion, Friendship and Forgiveness which are all rooted in agape (Love).'

St Stephen's is led by an Executive Headteacher and two Deputy Headteachers and we actively encourage parents to work in partnership with us for the benefit of our children. Working together as a school family, we can ensure that children are both happy and successful at school.
